A smooth 200-watt induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration operation. The grinding stone is continuously cooled in a water bath, preventing the tool from overheating during grinding. The right grinding technique requires practice – or it's already in the TIGER 2500 grinder. Without practice and experience, costly mistakes can occur when sharpening high-quality and expensive tools. However, even beginners can achieve top-notch and professional, razor-sharp results with Scheppach's TIGER2500 wet grinder. This grinding machine features a continuously rotating grinding stone running at 90 min-1 in a water bath. This keeps the grinding stone continuously cooled, preventing the tool from losing its hardness due to overheating. Only this way can you achieve a lasting edge. The high smoothness of the grinding stone also contributes to a perfect result. The shatterproof water tank ensures that your workbench stays dry.

Features:

Precision Meets Performance:- The special corundum grinding stone with aluminum oxide has a diameter of 250mm and a thickness of 50mm. It's a standard feature of the TIGER 2500 and delivers perfect grinding results even on hard steel over 60 HRC (tool steel).
Mastering the Perfect Angle:- The angle gauge makes it easy to determine the correct grinding angle. This ensures that straight blades can be sharpened optimally, reducing the risk of errors due to incorrect angles.
Secure and Consistent Grinding:- The universal grinding device always holds the workpiece at the correct angle during subsequent grinding, preventing slipping and the creation of edges.
Fine Finishing Touches:- With the additional leather honing wheel of the TIGER 2500 wet grinding machine and the included honing paste, you can remove burrs after grinding and polish the edge. When the leather is worn out, it can be easily removed and replaced.
