The DeWalt DCN662N-XJ Cordless Brushless Second Fix Nailer is used for "softer" or more delicate interior work or finishing work. That is, jobs where the nails will be visible and need to be neat. Smaller nails are used to reduce potential damage and impressions. A second-fix nailer should be used on more delicate areas. It is an 18V XR 16 gauge brushless straight nailer bare unit. The brushless motor means you get improved power and run-time over previous models and reduced maintenance. Two firing modes (bump and sequential) mean you can work effectively depending on the application at hand. The DCN662N-XJ has an improved grip and ergonomics, meaning you can work comfortably for longer. The dry fire lock-out prevents unnecessary firing. The LED light illuminates the work area as well as highlights low battery or jammed nails.
