The HY5508X is a powerful yet compact 550w direct-drive oil-free low noise, near silent 8 litre air compressor from Hyundai. Designed for DIY and light applications the HY5508X silenced oil-free air compressor is ideal for air brushing, blowing away dirt and dust, nailing, inflating tyres & inflatables or operating air tools. Weighing only 15kg the HY5508X whisper compressor is lighter than your conventional piston type air compressor and is completely oil-free, so there is no risk of oil contamination in the air supply. A slow-running, 4-pole motor operating at 1450 RPM, like the Hyundai HY5508X air compressor, offers reduced noise and results in less wear and tear on internal components, which can extend the air compressor's lifespan. Running at a slower speed typically consumes less energy, making it a more energy-efficient solution for users and potentially lowering electricity costs over the long term.
