Excel Flood light
Light The Site. See Every Detail.
From after-dark construction to close-up indoor work, Excel flood lights deliver powerful LED illumination where you need it, with 18V cordless and hybrid options across the range.
The work is still going. Bring the light to match.
A dim corner can slow down the whole job. Put one of our Excel LED flood lights to work and bring powerful, more comfortable illumination to the space in front of you. Need the freedom to move without a lead? Choose our 5000-lumen cordless flood light. Lighting a larger area or working where power is available? Step up to our 10,000-lumen hybrid model and switch between a compatible 18V battery and mains power. Both use our ProFrosted beam to soften the light while keeping the workspace bright. Pick the setup that suits the job, then get on with it.
Bright light that works with your setup
The right site flood light needs to do more than look powerful on paper. It has to illuminate the part of the job you are working on, fit into the tools you carry and stay useful when the job moves. From construction sites and refurbishments to garages, workshops and maintenance work, our Excel flood lights give you a choice of output and power source without making you change battery platform just to light the work.
Both models have four selectable brightness modes, a head that rotates up to 180° so you can direct the beam, and IP54 protection against dust and water ingress. Their ProFrosted beam is designed to give a softer, more comfortable light when you are working under it for extended periods. Both carry a three-year standard warranty. Start with how big an area you need to light, then decide whether cordless-only operation or the option to plug in makes more sense.

Excel 18V 5000 Lumens ProFrosted Flood Light Body with Multi-Brand Adaptors
Some jobs take you from room to room, floor to floor or one end of the workshop to the other. SKU 10768 is built for that kind of movement. Powered by a compatible 18V tool battery, this cordless LED flood light puts up to 5000 lumens where you need them without a trailing power cable. Its ProFrosted beam helps make that strong output more comfortable to work around, whether you are illuminating a fitting area, working on site or finishing a task in a dim garage.
Turn the head through up to 180° to direct the light towards the work, then choose from four brightness modes to suit the task. Bring up the output for demanding work or choose a lower mode when you need less light. The tough housing and IP54 rating are suited to dusty, occasionally wet working environments. It is a straightforward light to take along when you want a capable flood light that runs on a battery already in your kit.
We include five battery adaptors for Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, HiKOKI and Bosch 18V systems. A Festool adaptor is available separately. SKU 10768 is supplied as a body only, so a battery and charger are not included. Check that your exact battery fits the relevant adaptor before you buy, especially if your kit includes more than one battery system.
Excel 10000 Lumens 18V/240V Hybrid ProFrosted Work Light with Multi-Brand Adaptors
When there is more ground to cover, SKU 10767 brings up to 10,000 lumens to the job. This is the Excel flood light for larger construction areas, demanding workshop work and jobs that need a serious amount of light across the workspace. The ProFrosted beam softens the feel of that high output, giving you a more comfortable working light when the task keeps you there for hours.
Its biggest advantage is the choice of power. Plug it into the mains with the included cable when a socket is available, or fit a compatible 18V battery when the light needs to move away from one. Four brightness modes let you select the output for the space, and the head rotates up to 180° so you can aim the beam at the work. An IP54 rating supports use in challenging jobsite conditions.
Five adaptors are included for Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, HiKOKI and Bosch 18V batteries; the Festool adaptor is a separate optional accessory. The mains cable comes with the light, while a battery and charger do not. That makes SKU 10767 a versatile choice when one job has nearby mains power and the next calls for cordless freedom.
Which Excel flood light should you choose
Choose 5000 lumens for cordless working
Pick SKU 10768 if you regularly carry a light between tasks and want to run it from a compatible 18V battery. It offers strong flood lighting, four brightness modes and an adjustable head in a cordless-only setup. It is particularly useful when sockets are awkward to reach or you want to keep leads clear of the working area.
Choose 10000 lumens for bigger spaces and hybrid power
Go for SKU 10767 when the space needs a higher maximum output or you want the option to run from mains. Plug it in for work near a socket, then switch to a compatible 18V battery when the job shifts elsewhere. The supplied mains cable and included battery adaptors make the power choice genuinely useful on changing sites.
Check what comes in the box
Both lights come with five adaptors covering Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, HiKOKI and Bosch battery systems. Festool requires an optional adaptor. Neither model includes an 18V battery or charger, and only the hybrid 10,000-lumen model comes with a mains cable. If your priority is working without a lead, start with the 5000-lumen light. If you also want mains operation and more maximum brightness, choose the 10,000-lumen hybrid.
Turn the light on and keep the job moving
Whether you are lighting the next room or a larger stretch of site, bring the flood light that fits the work ahead. Choose the cordless 5000-lumen Excel light for mobility, or bring in the 10,000-lumen hybrid when you need more output and another way to power it. Aim the ProFrosted beam, set your brightness and give the team the visibility to carry on with the job.
