Excel Tripod Led Light
Own the Hours After Dark
From demanding jobsites to camping trips and garden barbecues, Excel tripod lights put powerful LED lighting where the action is.
When the sun clocks off, Excel is still on the job.
The last hour of daylight should not decide when you pack up. Lift powerful LED light above the work with our Excel tripod site lights and keep the job moving. Choose the 6000 lumen rechargeable model for quick setup, smaller work areas and evenings outdoors, or bring in the 8100 lumen three-head light when you need to illuminate a wider jobsite. One is ready to go with its own built-in battery; the other lets you switch between compatible 18V tool batteries and 230V mains. Find the setup that works as hard as you do.
Get the light where the work happens
A tripod work light lets you raise illumination above the floor and direct it into the area where the next job is happening. That matters when you are working through a renovation, finishing a garage project, keeping a workshop productive or dealing with an early start on site. We have two Excel options because the best light for a quick repair is not always the one you want illuminating a full working area. Think about how much space you need to cover, where the light will stand and how you plan to power it.

Excel 6000 Lumens 14.8V Rechargeable LED Tripod Work Light with Adjustable Head
Moving from one task to another? SKU 10968 is the light you can pick up, carry over and set down wherever you need it. Its built-in 14.8V 5200mAh rechargeable battery gives you cordless freedom without needing a separate 18V tool battery or adaptor. The foldable design and quick-release setup make it straightforward to transport, deploy and pack away, while the adjustable head lets you aim light at the work in front of you.
Dial the output to suit the job. At full power, you get up to 6000 lumens for a stated two hours. For longer sessions, the listed settings offer 2400 lumens for up to four hours, 1200 lumens for up to eight hours or 600 lumens for up to 16 hours. Five selectable colour temperatures, from warm 2700K through to daylight-style 6500K, let you change the appearance of the light as well. A five-level battery indicator and low-power warning help you keep an eye on charge during use. The supplied AC/DC charger takes approximately 4.5 hours to recharge the battery.
That portability does not stop at the end of a shift. Take the same Excel light camping, use it around a garden barbecue or bring it out for an evening gathering. It still earns its place on smaller jobsites, in garages and on maintenance tasks where a directed cordless light makes sense. IP65 dust and water protection, reinforced legs and an impact-resistant housing help it stand up to regular working use. Choose it when you want a light that can go from the worksite to the weekend without needing to borrow a tool battery.
Excel 8100 Lumens 18V/230V Hybrid Tripod LED Flood Light with Carry Bag & Multi-Brand Adaptors
When the whole workspace needs attention, SKU 10750 steps up. Three fully adjustable LED heads give you 360° illumination around the tripod, and the stand extends to 2200mm to lift light above the activity. With up to 8100 lumens available, it is ready for larger construction areas, workshop floors, refurbishment work and jobs where several people need to see what they are doing. Single-trigger deployment helps you get it set up quickly, and the supplied heavy-duty carry case keeps it together between jobs.
Select from four brightness levels: 2025, 4050, 6075 or 8100 lumens. You get a fixed 6500K daylight-colour output, mode memory for your last selected setting and a battery status indicator for cordless use. Power the light from 230V mains with the included 5m cable, or fit a compatible 18V power tool battery when you need to work away from an outlet. We include five adaptors covering Makita, DeWalt/Milwaukee, HiKOKI, Metabo and Bosch battery systems; a Festool adaptor is available separately. The 18V battery and charger are not included.
This is the tripod light for a demanding, changing site. Its IK08 impact rating and IP54 dust and water protection support use in working environments, while the three-head layout helps spread light around a wider area from one position. When mains power is available, use it for extended work without planning your session around a battery. When it is not, use the compatible 18V platform already in your kit.
Which Excel tripod light should you choose
Choose the 6000 lumen rechargeable light for freedom to move
Go for SKU 10968 if you are working through smaller areas, heading out to a quick repair or taking a light somewhere without easy access to a socket. Its own battery, adjustable head, four output settings and five colour temperatures make it a versatile companion for work and time outdoors. You can choose a lower setting when you need the light to last longer, then recharge it with the supplied charger before the next job.
Choose the 8100 lumen light to cover more of the site
Pick SKU 10750 when the aim is wider, raised illumination across a jobsite. The three adjustable heads, 360° coverage and 2200mm stand make a clear difference when the work extends beyond a single task area. Choose mains power when you have an outlet within reach, or run a suitable 18V tool battery when the light needs to go where the work is. Check that your exact battery fits its supplied adaptor before ordering.
Plan your power before the shift starts
The 6000 lumen light has its own rechargeable battery and comes with a charger. The 8100 lumen light comes with a mains cable and multi-brand adaptors but needs a separate compatible 18V battery for cordless use. That is the practical decision behind the lumen figures: do you want a self-contained light you can grab and go, or a larger site light that can keep running on mains and draw on your existing battery kit when needed?
Keep the job moving after dark
Bring the right Excel tripod light and the end of daylight no longer has to mean the end of progress. Aim the rechargeable 6000 lumen light at the next task, then take it camping or out into the garden when the work is done. Raise the 8100 lumen three-head light over the larger jobsite and give the team the coverage they need to keep going. Choose your light, set it where the work happens and make the hours after sunset count.
